ProVal Beta Downloads

This beta version is intended for testing purposes only; it should not be used for production work. Be careful not to open existing clients with this new version! If you do, you will not be able to open them with the current production version. Instead, make a copy of any client you wish to open, and use that copy.

ProVal Installation & Update

Use: Install ProVal 3.20 beta for the first time or update an existing 3.20 beta installation.

Alternatives:

  • Install or update version 3.20 beta using a Microsoft Installer package (.msi). Generally used by IT professionals. Does not install any pre-requisites such as Microsoft Redistributables or Sentinel drivers.Download ProVal 3.20 beta.msi
  • Update an existing 3.20 beta installation by replacing the files in the ProVal program folder with those contained in updt320.zip. Download updt320.zip

ProVal (beta) - Update

License: Paid subscription

Use: Update an existing 3.13 beta installation. If 3.13 beta isn't installed already, use the Full Installation above.

  1. Click Download Update (above).
  2. Exit ProVal. All users must exit for a network installation.
  3. Unzip updt313.zip into the ProVal program folder, replacing existing files.
  4. Start ProVal and follow the instructions. Write-access to the ProVal folder is required.

ProVal PS (beta) - Full Installation

License: Free for use with existing files, subject to accepting the terms of use upon installation.

  1. Click the Download Full Installation button above to download and run ProValPSsetup.exe.
  2. IMPORTANT: Make sure your installation is up-to-date by following the Update Existing Installation instructions below.

 ProVal PS System Requirements

ProVal PS (beta) - Update Existing Installation

Use: Update an existing ProVal PS (beta) installation from any previous version to the most recent.

  1. From the Options menu in ProVal PS, choose Download Program Updates while holding down the Shift key
  2. If a file is open, you will be asked to close it -- click OK to continue.
  3. If ProVal PS finds updates, click the Download button and follow the prompts to close and restart ProVal PS. Otherwise, your installation is up-to-date and you can click Cancel.
