When installing ProVal PS for the first time, you must download the Full Installation
and follow the installation process.
|

|
Please note that the Installation requires you to have administrator rights to your computer.
To determine if you have administrator rights to your computer, right click on the Start button
in the lower left hand corner of your screen and examine the entries that appear in the pop-up window.
If Open All Users and Explore All Users appear, then you have the required administrator rights.
If these menu items do not appear, then you do not have the necessary administrator rights and you
should consult with your local IT manager about how to proceed with the installation.

Click the Download Full Installation button below to download
and run ProValPSsetup.exe. In some cases, web filtering software
may strip off the .exe extension from the downloaded file. In this
case, please rename the downloaded file to ProValPSSetep.exe
before running it. Follow the installation wizard's instructions.

The installer will create shortcuts to ProVal PS on your desktop and on your Start/Programs
menu.

The final step of the installation wizard allows you to start ProVal PS immediately
after installation. If you do not choose that option, you will need to start ProVal
PS manually with one of the aforementioned shortcuts.

When ProVal PS starts, it will open the demo.xps file automatically. (You may use
"Options/Auto Open Last File" to control this behavior in the future.)

Make sure your installation is up-to-date by following the Update Existing Installation
procedure which follows. |

ProVal PS - Update Existing Installation
|
|
|
From the Options menu in ProVal PS, choose Download Program Updates.
|
|
|
If a ProVal PS file is open, you will be asked to close it -- click "Yes".
|
|
|
You will be presented with a list of files; any that have been updated will be pre-selected
for you.
|
|
|
To download the selected files, click the "Download" button.
|
|
|
You may be instructed to restart ProVal PS.
