Send Files
Why send files? Sometimes sending us the files you're working on helps us
answer a question or replicate a problem. You can send us your files here, even
if the file would be too large to send by email (many email systems do not permit
messages, including attachments, larger than 10MB).
What files should you send? For ProVal or ProAdmin, send the library files
(provaldd.sf, pvvip.sf, pvasmp.sf, and pvout.sf). If the issue concerns a valuation
or core projection, also send the database files referenced by the valuation or
core projection (*.sf). For ProVal PS, send the *.xps file.
How securely are the files transmitted? As the checkboxes denote below, we
mandate the use of 128-bit SSL encryption while uploading and downloading files.
We recommend zipping the files using a product such as WinZip before sending. Files must be less than 2GB in size (as of this writing, this is a limitation of all known browsers). If zipping all of the files together exceeds 2GB, try zipping each file individually. If one (or more) of the zip files is still in excess of 2GB, try splitting the file (e.g., by using a utility such as "The File Splitter" for Windows, which can be found here http://www.dekabyte.com/filesplitter/).
