No Weekends. No Holidays. No Vacations.

ProAdmin Online allows greater convenience for participants and administrators alike because the information and engine are available around the clock. As an administrator, it frees up your time to focus on more pressing HR challenges and not spend your day responding to benefit information requests. Participants get to enjoy the convenience of round-the-clock service without any waiting and the ability to instantly calculate benefits without submitting any additional paperwork.

Take Complete Control.

Most vendors that offer web-based defined benefit administration solutions insist on hosting the data and/or calculation engine themselves. With increasingly stringent compliance demands, do you really feel comfortable with an external party hosting your data? Given the current regulatory climate and the sensitivity of the data required for defined benefit calculations, we believe that relinquishing control of your data is a risk that you cannot afford. ProAdmin Online has been designed so that both the data and the engine are hosted within the confines of your enterprise infrastructure. This gives your IT staff the ability to apply all the security mechanisms prevalent across your enterprise and gives you the freedom to impose restrictions of your choice on your data. Furthermore, the capability for you to grant/revoke access to the various sections in the portal is built into our ProAdmin Online Admin module.

Managed Content.

Adding new clients/companies for both TPAs and plan sponsors to web-based defined benefit administration systems can be both cumbersome and expensive. Since every client has their own brand elements that need to be incorporated into the participant website, programmers often "patch" existing pages, which tends to break existing pieces of the website and produce unmanageable code. ProAdmin Online comes with a content management system built in, which allows you to customize and format content on the portal per your organization's needs. The system is also "skinnable", so the system easily incorporates the look and feel of your organization. ProAdmin Online allows you to define content using a WYSIWYG editor with minimal web-programming knowledge; however the system also allows you to script HTML if you so desire. Finally, administrators have the ability to make changes to participant data online and ProAdmin Online maintains an audit trail of these changes.

Open Architecture.

ProAdmin Online is built from the ground up using open standards such as XML, which allow easier integration into your existing system and allow you to extend the system as your requirements change. Our architecture allows you to start small and scale up and out effortlessly, when required. Census data is stored in SQL Server, and the web pages are served using IIS, which is available out of the box with most Microsoft Windows operating environments. ProAdmin Server is exposed using a Microsoft Windows Service and XML is used for data transport (see Technical Overview for details). This allows your IT staff to easily add custom applications that consume the data produced by ProAdmin Online.

Participants First.

At WinTech, we realize that the defined benefit business is mathematically complex and jargon-heavy. In order to alleviate some of the apprehension/confusion faced by plan participants, ProAdmin Online comes equipped with plenty of tools such as customizable FAQ pages and sections for Forms, Booklets and other Publications. Additionally, an Intelligent Glossary automatically "pops up" the meanings/interpretations of terms defined in the Glossary in the participant pages. ProAdmin Online is powerful enough to handle multiple retirements ages (or dates), and for each of these, it accepts multiple commencement ages (or dates). Participants may also store their benefit calculations online for future reference.

Movin' On Up.

ProAdmin Online is an excellent upgrade for those who have traditionally stored census data in worksheets, flat data files or even paper. Now that you find yourself growing out of these antiquated options, migrating to ProAdmin Online provides an excellent opportunity to move your data to Microsoft SQL Server. We provide tried and tested database schemas so that you don't have to hire consultants to plan them for you. Microsoft SQL Server has remarkable data interchange tools with most commonly used products such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Visual FoxPro, etc, which ensure that the conversion process from your older system is generally straightforward. Best of all, Microsoft SQL Server provides greater security, audit and failover options, all noteworthy benefits for the compliance/regulatory folks.

Powerful Reporting Capabilities.

ProAdmin Online features a powerful and extensible report writer that generates reports and can export them to Microsoft Excel, XML, Comma Separated Values (CSV), or ASCII Text files out of the box. There are no add-ins that you need to purchase for this functionality. Since these are open standard formats, the functionality may be further extended by building custom applications that consume the data generated by these reports. The reports may be defined using a wizard that runs through the process in a few simple steps. The reports may also be grouped into categories (Audit, Earnings, Employment, etc.) for easier retrieval and copied into new reports and edited, thus simplifying the process of creating similar reports.
